Youssoufa Moukoko was allowed to play in the Bundesliga earlier last season after the DFL certified a new age grade for players to be allowed to compete in the Bundesliga.
Muokoko who was an integral member of the youth setup last season has been promoted to the senior team.
But there would be an exception, Moukoko would still compete with the club’s under 23s even after his 16th birthday.
Dortmund has been able to integrate young players, making them a integral part of the team.
Youssoufa Moukoko will no longer train with the junior team, but will permanently switch sides with the professionals.
Borussia Dortmund would commence training tour from August as part of measures to quickly prepare the players for the new season which starts from mid September.
“already planned that he should play in the U19, depending on the coordinated program,” quotes the ‘WAZ’ BVB sports director Michael Zorc via Fussball Transfers.
“It is important that the boy maintains his playing practice,”
