World Cup winner Di María to remain at Juventus until 2023
One of the most significant revelations of the World Cup and the brain behind the crown for the Albiceleste, Ángel Di Maria, will remain at Juventus until 2024. The Argentine was the chief dictator during the World Cup final victory over France.
According to Fichajes, with an extract from Fabrizio Romano, Di María will remain with Juventus until the end of the current campaign before deciding on his next move. The 35-year-old in our previous report had been linked with a move to Rosario Central.
Ángel Di Maria started brilliantly and was behind Argentina’s early two-goal lead against France before head coach Lionel Scaloni substituted him in the 64th minute.
What’s the next step for Di María?
Fichajes revealed the Argentine has two proposals on the table from South American teams, and the decision is for him to make. The Spanish outlet did mention the 34-year-old is open to competing in Europe as he prepares for the Copa America in 2024.
Di María and Lionel Messi could be on the train with Argentina to the 2024 Copa America.
