Which team is leading the race to sign Moroccan Azzedine Ounahi as Napoli clears the air
One of the brightest stars at the World Cup in the Moroccan Men’s National team was Azzedine Ounahi. The 22-year-old midfielder, who plays for French club Angers, has been interesting to top European clubs lately.
At the moment, Serie A leaders Napoli have indicated the Moroccan would be the club’s first signing in the summer of 2023, as reported by Fichajes.
One of the setbacks for clubs interested in securing the services of young talent was the ridiculous price tag Angers had slammed on the player.
Will Napoli sign Azzedine Ounahi from Angers?
According to Fichajes, with an extract from Fabrizio Romano, Napoli are exploring opportunities to convince the player so they could begin negotiations with him.
However, the obstacle for Partenopei would be the ridiculous price tag Angers had slammed on the Moroccan midfielder. The French club wants to make a profit from the sale of the 22-year-old.
Napoli could agree with the club to sign him in the January transfer window. For Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, he is no longer an option for the market in the summer.
