Borussia Dortmund revealed their stance regarding the future of Jude Bellingham amid rumours. The Bundesliga club, according to The Mirror, said they could not afford the financial aspect if a big club knocked on the door of the 19-year-old.
The English midfielder is uncertain about his future at Borussia Dortmund and is yet to give a clear statement if he remains in Germany next year.
“But we don’t have to pretend that the issue is not on the table. If the really big clubs are involved, then we can’t afford to have a fight financially.” said Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke as cited by The Mirror.

Currently, two clubs (Real Madrid and Liverpool) are heavily linked with the player, according to Fichajes. But it is expected to be a tough fight since the two sides are determined to land the Englishman at all costs.

The statement from Hans-Joachim Watzke suggests an offer from eight Real Madrid or Liverpool would be given an audience. The club will speak to any club interested in securing his services.
Real Madrid are expected to table as high as 100 million, so that stands a chance in the race for the English midfielder as Los Blancos want to sign the player as quickly as possible.
