Stockport United will host Charlton Athletic at Edgeley Park in the FA Cup second-round replay. The initial fixture ended in a draw at The Valley stadium.
Charlton Athletic forced their way back into the game in the initial fixture after Chris Hussey had given Stockport an early lead three minutes from kickoff. Joe Lewis’s own goal brought the game on level terms before Albie Morgan shot Charlton Athletic in the driving seat.
When Charlton had seen themselves in the next round, 28-year-old Myles Hippolyte found the back of the net seven minutes in added time to give the League Two club a second trial.
Stockport thrashed Hartlepool 5-0 over the weekend in preparation for the replay with Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night. Charlton lost to Cheltenham at home in League One action.
