Portuguese league giants SL Benfica will host Red Bull Salzburg at Estádio da Luz in their UCL group D opener.

The Eagles were drawn in the Group along with Red Bull Salzburg, Inter Milan and Real Sociedad.

Benfica got to the quarter-finals of the UCL last season before their elimination from the competition by Inter Milan. Ahead of the game, Benfica have been impressive this season, with four consecutive wins in five games.

RB Salzburg are one of the household names in the UCL. The Austrian football club finished third in the group stage last season behind AC Milan and Chelsea.
