Brazilian soccer giants Sao Paulo will face off against San Lorenzo at Cícero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium in the second leg of the Copa Sudamericana round of 16.

So far, it has been a success on the continent for Sao Paulo despite the team’s ups and downs in the Brazilian Championship, as they currently placed 9th on the league table.

Sao Paulo finished top of Group D with 16 points. Unbeaten in the group stages, the Tricolor Paulista will be looking to maintain their form when they take on San Lorenzo.

San Lorenzo finished second in Group H with eight points. The Argentine side has recorded mixed results lately and would need to deal with Sao Paulo’s fine record in the Copa Sudamericana.

San Lorenzo holds the advantage going into the fixture following the 1-0 win in the first leg.
