Brazil giants Sao Paulo will square up against LDU Quito at Estádio do Morumbi in the Copa Sudamericana first leg.

Sao Paulo came strong in the second leg to claim a 2-0 win over San Lorenzo after the defeat in the first leg in Argentina.

Sao Paulo has been inconsistent lately, especially in the Brazilian Championship. In a keenly contested match ahead of the midweek clash, Sao Paulo was forced to a draw by league leaders Botafogo.

LDU Quito earned a hard-fought win over Nublense in the round of 16. The Ecuadorians could only rely on penalties to book their place in the quarter-finals.

Quito, however, has not won a match in their games and could only rely on penalties to see off Chilean side Nublense.
