Following the defeat to Benfica in the Super Cup, Porto would begin the new season at Moreirense on Monday night.

The Dragons were runners-up in the league but successfully won the Portuguese Cup to finish the season on a high.

Porto boss Sérgio Conceição took positives in his team’s defeat to Benfica in the Super Cup as he eyes a good start on the road.

Host Moreirense will compete in the Portuguese top flight yet again after lifting the second-division title last season and returning after just one season.

The Minho-based club, however, faces a tough test coming up against Porto in their opening fixture of the new season.
