UEFA Champions League action continues on Wednesday night as Norwegian side Molde welcomes Turkish football giants Galatasaray to the Aker Stadion in the first leg playoffs.

Molde UCL’s journey faces the final hurdle. The Norwegians eliminated  Klaksvik in the third round qualifying series.

Ahead of the meeting, Molde was held by Valerenga in the Norwegians Eliteserien. The team’s last entry into the group stages was in the 1999–2000 season.

Galatasaray are also closer to qualifying for the UCL group stages. The Superlig giants overcame NK Olimpija over two legs in the third round.

Galatasaray’s last appearance in the UCL group stages was in the 2019–20 season. They were placed along with Paris Saint-Germain, Club Brugge, and Real Madrid.
