Following an impressive showing against Persepolis in the AFC Champions League in midweek, Al Nassr returns to Saudi football as Al Ahli Saudi visits Al-Awwal Park.
Esmaeilifar’s own goal and Mohammed Qassem Al Nakhli’s strike was enough to hand Al Nassr a comfortable win against Iranian club Persepolis.
In the Saudi Pro League, the team has been outstanding, as they won their previous four games.
Al Ahli Saudi were not in action midweek and had much rest time ahead of the game on Friday evening. However, it was a hard-fought win (3-2) for the team against Al-Taawon last weekend.
Former Newcastle United FC forward Allan Saint-Maximin was on target against Al-Taawon. The 26-year-old, alongside Bobby Firmino, are expected to lead the attack against Cristiano Ronaldo Al Nassr.
