Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al Nassr to lift the Arab Clubs Champions League on Saturday, scoring twice.

The Portuguese forward won his first trophy for the club after coming close to the title last season. Now Al Nassr shifts to the Saudi Pro League, which began over the weekend.

Al-Ettifaq will tackle Al Nassr at Prince Mohamed bin Fahd Stadium on Monday evening. Al-Ettifaq finished seventh in the Saudi Pro League last season.

Al Nassr second as Al Ittihad won the league title in the season’s final stretch. However, the arrival of Sadio Mane has improved the team’s firepower and is expected to bolster the squad for the new season.

Al Nassr will be looking to begin the new season strongly following their triumph in the Arab Clubs Champions League.
