When’s the next El Clásico: Real Madrid tackle Barcelona on October 16
Real Madrid will tackle Barcelona in the 249 competitive meeting of the El Clásico on Saturday, October 16. The two sides had met during the pre-season on July 23 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The match will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu and will kick off at 4:15 p.m as this would favour the La Liga Asian audience, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Real Madrid are top of the La Liga table after nine rounds and unbeaten as rivals Barcelona sit second with two points adrift of Los Blancos.
What to expect in the first El Clásico of the 2022-23 season
Real Madrid are the best team in the league as they currently occupy the top spot, and strong statistics put the odds in their favour.
Barcelona, on the other hand, has not lost any game this season but was forced to drop points by Rayo Vallecano in the opening matchday at the Spotify Camp Nou.
Would the El Clásico be shown live on TV?
La Liga broadcast partners DAZN will air the game for Spanish fans. Fans in the UK can watch the game on La Liga TV and Premier Sports, while US fans should stick to ESPN+.
