Possible opponents review

RB Leipzig

RassenBallsport Leipzig remains Real Madrid’s next toughest opponents if the Los Blancos eventually meets the German side

The side from Saxony is known for causing upset whenever they come against bigger teams in any competition. Last season, they were semifinalists, loosing to Paris Saint Germain.

They could prove to be the biggest obstacle in the competition so far.

Atalanta

The Italian Serie A never stops at surprising the rest of Europe with their quick rise within the past two to three seasons in Europe.

They are also a tough opposition to face.

  1. Real Madrid would consider selling Isco and Marcelo

Lazio

Although it may seem to be an easy fixture, the Italians also have a reason for getting to the knockout stages as there are no pushovers.

FC Porto

The Portuguese Primeira Liga side remains one of the strongest when it comes to European competitions. The Portuguese side also has a pedigree when it comes to the Champions League, and that alone is a huge sign of danger for Real Madrid.

One-time Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho led the club to a Champions League triumph.
