When will Messi return to PSG after the World Cup

Published

on

The joy of winning the World Cup and earning his place amongst the greatest footballers in the world is something the PSG player has been filled with. The 35-year-old played a vital role, especially alongside Ángel Di Maria, in handing the South American country its third trophy.

However, in France, many PSG and football fans are eager to see Lionel Messi play again. And again, his return to the Parc des Princes is expected to improve the atmosphere in the French capital.

At the moment, Messi is enjoying a well-deserved vacation with his family and friends. But when will Messi play for the Ligue 1 giants following the triumph in Qatar?

Paris Saint-Germain will continue their title defense as the French Ligue 1 resumes on December 28th,  as they host RC Strasbourg Alsace, who are 19th on the French league table.

When is Lionel Messi returning to PSG after the World Cup and holiday?

At Paris Saint-Germain, they expect Lionel Messi to return to the club on the 3rd of January in the new year. The French club will miss out on his services when they face Strasbourg Alsace and RC Lens.

Paris Saint-Germain are out to prove a point this season as they’re drawn to face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League round of 16.
