What channel is Man United vs Tottenham on? live stream, team news and kick-off time

Wednesday’s high-profile match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will feature two of the Premier League’s top four contenders.

Manchester United is still a work in progress, as shown by their Saturday scoreless draw with Newcastle United. Although the Red Devils might not exactly have a spring in their step just yet, they are a far cry from the hopeless team they were last season, and there is a sense of optimism at the club.

Currently ranked fifth in the standings, Manchester United will take on Tottenham Hotspur in a challenging midweek match.

Their Wednesday opponents defeated Everton 2-0 thanks to goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane.

Antonio Conte’s team needed some time to get going and overcome a tenacious Everton defence. But they finished the job in the second period, maintaining their third-place standing in the Premier League standings.

Team News

Axel Tuanzebe (unspecified), Brandon Williams (unspecified), Aaron Wan-Bissaka (muscle), Harry Maguire (hamstring), Donny van de Beek (muscle), and Anthony Martial (back) were all absent from the draw with Newcastle, leaving Man United’s treatment room overflowing ahead of Wednesday’s match.

It’s uncertain whether Christian Eriksen will recover from illness in time to face his old team, so McTominay and Casemiro could start in the middle of the field.

After experiencing a setback in his hamstring injury recovery, Dejan Kulusevski is still doubtful. While Matt Doherty continues to fill in, Emerson Royal will serve his third and final game of suspension.

Given the injuries to Kulusevski and Richarlison, Tottenham is likely to adjust their formation, with Yves Bissouma being introduced into a 3-5-2 configuration.

Manchester United Premier League form:

W, W, L, W, D

Tottenham Hotspur Premier League form:

W, W, L, W, W

Manchester United predicted lineup:

De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Malacia; Casemiro, McTominay; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Rashford

Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup:

Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Bentancur, Perisic; Son, Kane

Prediction

Manchester United 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur

This is going to be a heated battle. This might be a thrilling contest, but given United’s recent record versus Spurs and the fact that they are at home, I predict Ten Hag’s team to win.
