What Bernardo Silva said regarding his Man City future amid Barcelona transfer rumours
Bernardo Silva, one of the greatest wishes at FC Barcelona as the Catalan club looks to strengthen its midfield. Xavi Hernandez wants to work with the 28-year-old Portuguese midfielder next summer.
However, it is unclear whether Silva will move to Spain and abandon Pep Guardiola’s dream Champions League title triumph with the Cityzens.

According to Fichajes, Bernardo Silva revealed he’d received no offer from Spain, indirectly relating to Barcelona, who has been linked with the player.
“I have not received any offer from Spain, nobody has come. I stay in Manchester. The decision has been made and I am very happy.”, says Bernardo Silva.
The Portuguese attacker would have been the ideal midfield signing for Barcelona. But the player’s stance on his future could rule this move from coming to fruition.
Manchester City has the Champions League as the club’s greatest wish after dominating English football in the last four seasons. Pep Guardiola would like to try again with Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne as the team pivots.

Bernardo Silva has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2025. But there’s a contrary report from The Athletic (h/t Manchester Evening News), Silva may not stay at Manchester City beyond next month (January).
The report indicates the Portuguese footballer will not leave the Etihad stadium unless a bigger offer comes.
