Wembley stadium is the biggest football stadium in the United Kingdom. It has a seating capacity of 90,000 seats. 

 

The stadium was opened in 2007 with state-of-the-art facilities. Today, it is used as the main stadium to host major football matches, including home matches of the English Men’s National Team and the FA Cup Final. 

 

Often referred to as the home of football, Wembley serves administrative headquarters for the English football governing body (the FA).

The Wembley stadium has a capacity of 90,000 seats. However, if converted to athletics use, its use would decrease the stadium’s capacity to  60,000.

The Wembley stadium stands are East and West. The seating plan is divided into levels (levels 1,2, and 3).

Wembley has enormous parking spaces for car owners, and you must utilise the official car park. Car owners are not allowed to park on the streets to allow easy flow of movement in and around the stadium facility.

 

Before you even arrive at the Wembley stadium with your car, you should make sure to book a parking lot which can be accessed on the Wembley official website.

The Wembley stadium is one of the first-class sporting facilities in the United Kingdom. It is mainly used for football games but can be configured to host athletics.

 

During the 2021 London Summer Olympics, it played a strategic role and was the venue for most finals. It is owned and operated by the English Football Association (the FA) and is the location of the administrative headquarters of the football governing body of the country.

Wembley is home to the English Senior Men’s National Team (the Three Lions). They use the stadium as their home for other football games like qualifiers, including the European Football Championship, FIFA World Cup and UEFA Nations League.

The Wembley stadium is one of the best stadiums in London. It was opened in 2007 on the site of the original Wembley Stadium following the structure’s demolition from 2002 to 2003. It was one of the most expensive stadiums in the world at £798 million in 2007.
