Barcelona (Spain) – 5 Titles

Years Won: 1992, 1997, 2009, 2011, 2015.

 

 

When it comes to the UEFA Super Cup, Barcelona is the joint-most successful team in history alongside Italian Serie A side AC Milan with five titles each. The Catalans achieved their first victory in 1992. But waited five years to win another title in 2009.

 

AC Milan (Italy) – 5 Titles

Year won: 1989, 1990, 1994, 2003, 2007.

 

Real Madrid (Spain) – 4 Titles

Years Won: 2002, 2014, 2016, 2017

Real Madrid is a Spanish professional football club based in the city of Madrid. The Los Blancos are the second most successful team in the UEFA Super Cup winners list, with four titles behind Milan and Barcelona.

Madrid’s first taste of the Continental Classico was in 2002, despite holding the status as the most successful UEFA Champions League team with the most titles, about thirteen.

 

Liverpool  (England) – 4 Titles

Years Won: 1977, 2001, 2005, 2019.

Liverpool is an English professional football club that plays in the English Premier League and is the only English football club that has achieved more success in all the UEFA organised club football tournaments.

 

Atlético Madrid (Spain) – 3 Titles

Years Won: 2010, 2012, 2018.

Atlético Madrid is the third all-time winner of the UEFA Super Cup with three titles. These victories were achieved in the 21st century. Atlético won the title in 2010, 2012 and 2018. They are the third Football club from Spain with more than two trophies in the cabinet behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.

 

Atlético Madrid won the 2018 edition in an all Spanish affair. The match was a Madrid city derby in a European Cup tie.

 

Chelsea (England) – 2 Titles

Years Won: 1998, 2021.

 

Chelsea (Champions League) defeated Villareal CF (Europa League) to clinch the 2021 UEFA Super Cup. The Blues have now won two UEFA Super Cup titles.

 

Bayern Munich (Germany) – 2 Titles

Years Won: 2013, 2020.

The Bavarians most recently won the trophy in 2020, beating Spanish side Sevilla, who made it a record five losses with the loss at the Puskás Aréna in the Hungarian city of Budapest.

 

Ajax Amsterdam (Netherlands) – 2 Titles

Years Won: 1973, 1995.

Ajax is the only Dutch league side in the all-time chart with two titles. Ajax lifted the trophy in 1973 and 1975.

 

RSC Anderlecht (Belgium) – 2 Titles

Years Won: 1976, 1978.

Anderlecht is another side with two wins and the first side from Belgium with two Cups.

 

Juventus (Italy) – 2 Titles

Years Won: 1984, 1996.

 

Juventus is the second Football from Italy with up to two titles behind Milan, the joint-most successful UEFA Super Cup winners alongside Barcelona with five titles each.
