Tottenham plans almost €60m bid for Brennan Johnson
Since the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur has been in the hunt for a new striker and has identified Brennan Johnson as one of the suitable candidates for the offensive position.
The Welshman is also on the wishlist of several Premier League clubs, including Brentford. However, Tottenham are said to be ahead in the race to sign the talented forward.
According to Daily Mail, cited by Fussball Transfers, Chelsea, West Ham, and Spurs are in the race to sign the 22-year-old. But Spurs are expected to submit an opening bid to Nottingham Forest to accelerate the process.
The club wants to finalize the process quickly because the player fits into the plans of Spurs’ new boss, Ange Postecoglou. A significant boost for the Londoners, the youngster prefers a move to the club because he wants to get regular playing time.
A bid worth 59 million euros for Johnson
Tottenham Hotspur, in an attempt to win the race, could bid around 59 million euros for Brennan Johnson.
