Top Saudi club Al-Hilal table irresistible offer for Saul Niguez as Atletico Madrid exit looms

The millionaire offers from Saudi Arabia football clubs have continued to make headlines following the departure of some of the best names in Europe to the middle east.

And Atletico Madrid star Saúl Níguez is the latest player on the radar of Saudi club Al-Hilal. The Spaniard is already one of the top candidates to leave the club in the summer.

The main problem that fuelled Saul’s exit from Atletico Madrid was the lack of minutes last season, and there are indications he would be in the summer since there’s no guarantee of regular play time under Diego Simeone.

The Rojiblancos are looking to free up space in his team and are already doing so, with the recent report of Geoffrey Kondogbia leaving for Marseille being one of them.

According to the transfer portal Fichajes, Saul could join Al-Hilal in the summer, although this would depend on the offer and the terms, including a potential agreement.

The Rojiblancos will also look to bring reinforcement to the team ahead of pre-season and the start of next season.

Saul played 334 games for Atletico Madrid, scoring 44 goals and providing 21 assists.
