Top 11 free agents (without a club) after the summer transfer window 2023 closed
The summer transfer window of 2023 closed on September 1st, but there remain some high-profile names that are without clubs.
This summer witnessed significant spending by not only European football leagues like the Premier League and Ligue 1 but also the new challenger on the block, the Saudi Pro League.
The emergence of the Saudi Pro League as a top destination has made it open for players to make choices and consider their careers outside Europe, even though the trend is not new.
