Someone who can put the ball in the net is worth gold, especially today.
So it’s no surprise that attacking players tend to be the centre of attention, whether in the form of mega-cash transfers, front-page praise or collecting individual awards that seem to be in style.
Narrowing down the world’s best young forwards to a top 10 is a real challenge, but we had the opportunity to compile a list based on long-term success and their current ability level. We’re sure that some will probably disagree with us.
1. Erling Haaland
Just FIVE players have started a Premier League season with a goal or assist in their team's first six games ⚽️🎯
🇪🇬 Mo Salah (23/24)
🇳🇴 Erling Haaland (22/23)
🇦🇷 Sergio Aguero (19/20)
🇫🇷 Thierry Henry (04/05)

Even though he is only 22, Haaland is already a football legend. What hasn’t been said about Erling Haaland? Part man, part robot, he is a goalscoring machine and the most lethal number nine in the game.
The 22-year-old Norwegian is scoring more than a goal per game for Manchester City following his big move from Borussia Dortmund last summer, although there has been some criticism of other aspects of his game.
Apart from individual awards such as the 2020 Golden Boy, Haaland is a two-time winner of the Austrian Bundesliga.
But in Manchester City, he gain real glory, winning the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and FA Cup last season and breaking numerous individual records while winning these trophies.
2. Youssoufa Moukoko
Of course, Borussia Dortmund will have a player on this list. Moukoko is only 18 years old, and it’s clear now that a bright future awaits him. He was one of the youngest and greatest talents at the World Cup in Qatar.
3. Alexander Isak
Newcastle est la première équipe de l'histoire de la Premier League à avoir huit buteurs différents lors d’un seul match.

🏴 Dan Burn
🇳🇱 Sven Botman
🏴 Callum Wilson
🏴Anthony Gordon

Another star from the Premier League. It is the young striker of Newcastle United, Alexander Isak. He is one of the best strikers who plays equally well with the head and both feet.
Last season, he had a serious injury, but now he seems to have found his form and plays at a high level again, both for Sweden and Newcastle.
4. Jonathan David

Jonathan David is 22 years old and already left his mark in Canada’s national team. He plays in the French league for Lille and is considered one of the most skilled forwards today.
He moves very smoothly in the opposite box and finds himself in goalscoring opportunities often.
5. Victor Osimhen
This list won’t be complete without the best player in Serie A from last season. Osimhen is 24 years old and in Napoli is considered as God. Last season, he was unstoppable, leading the team to the new long-awaited title.
6. Dusan Vlahovic
Dusan Vlahovic plays for Serbia and Juventus, and he is 22 years old. He is a target on many European teams as Juventus tries to keep him. He proved himself in Serie A, first as Fiorentina’s player and now in Juventus.
7. Concalo Ramos

Ramos is a product of Benfica’s academy, and he showed what he knows in the national team of Portugal, replacing C. Ronaldo in some matches. This season, he is loaned to PSG, trying to make that jump in his career that will make him a great football star.
8. Darwin Nunez

— Anfield Agenda (@AnfieldAgenda) September 25, 2023
Nunez is a 23-year-old talented striker who started this season strongly after a not-so-well last season in the Premier League. He plays for Liverpool and Uruguay, and his talent and skills are undisputed, but he needed more time to adapt to life in England and football in the Premier League.
9. Julian Alvarez
The player who won everything he could win both with clubs and the national team, and he is only 22 years old.
It may be a little unfair he is in Haaland’s shadow in Manchester City, but whenever he gets the chance, he shows what he knows and why he is the World Champion with Argentina.
10. Moise Kean

Kean is only 22 years old, but he already played for several big European teams like PSG, Everton, and Verona, and now he is back in Juventus. He is incredibly fast and with great skills, but it’s hard for him to adapt to different teams.
