Toni Kroos to make stance clear when he will leave Real Madrid
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is not in a hurry regarding his future. Instead, he is expected to reveal his next move in February 2023, as reported by Fichajes.
The German footballer is one of the long-standing players at Real Madrid, winning numerous trophies with the Los Blancos, including the Champions League, La Liga, Club World Cup, and the Copa del Rey.
Kroos has been a key player for Real Madrid since he arrived from German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich. Especially since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, the 32-year-old has been one of the backbones that led the team to the unexpected UCL glory.
Although there are plans by the club’s top hierarchy, the desire is continuity. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is willing to offer him a new contract even though he would not necessarily become the number one in his position as the club wants to hand more minutes to Eduardo Camavinga.
There’s also ongoing effort by Real Madrid to secure the services of Jude Bellingham amid speculations clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and other Premier League clubs are queuing up to get the player’s signature.
