Arguably one of the best centre-back in the Spanish top flight, Pau Torres is no new name in the English media. Newcastle United wants a squad rotation, especially in the defence and has identified the Villarreal defender as the best candidate.

What will Newcastle do with Pau Torres? The Magpies want a pairing of Sven Botman and Torres. The Spaniard has a contract until 2024.
