“There is nothing with Manchester City,” Dani Olmo rules out joining Pep Guardiola’s side
Following a successful performance in the German Cup against Bayern Munich and scoring a hat trick, Dani Olmo has again become the centre of attraction in the German Bundesliga.
The Spanish, a key player at RB Leipzig, has stated his intentions to remain with the German Bundesliga. Recently, his contract was renewed, Keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.
Now Fichajes.com are reporting the players’ interest is not a move to the Premier League giant but a continuity with the Bundesliga club.
“There is nothing with Manchester City. I am focused on my work with Leipzig, the Bundesliga, the UCL, and the Cup. City is one of the best teams in the world, Gvardiol went there, but I’m happy here.” Says Olmo, as relayed by Fichajes.com.
Manchester City, on the other hand, have been in the hunt for a temporary replacement for injured Kevin De Bruyne, who is expected to sit out of the first team for months.
The Cityzens were previously said to have ruled out a move for West Ham United midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
