Despite their involvement in the market in the previous transfer window, PSG looks unsatisfied and wants more players when the next market opens.

Although lots of money was spent in the market last transfer window, The Red-and-Blues are heading into the winter market with three primary objectives. Fichajes revealed the position of main priority.

The three positions PSG wants to sign players in January 2023

Centre forward

PSG is looking for a reliable player for the centre-forward position. During the previous window, the club tried to sign top names like Robert Lewandowski and Gianluca Scamacca but failed.

Currently, the club focuses on Juventus forward Dušan Vlahović and Lautaro Martínez of Inter Milan.

The persistent rumoured exit of Kylian Mbappé has forced the club to look elsewhere. The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the club.

Wingers

The primary objective of Paris Saint-Germain is to strengthen its attack in every aspect. The club knows the departure of Mbappé or Lionel Messi could create problems for the club.

Due to these concerns, the club have begun searching for players that could fit into the system at Parc des Princes. Top names like Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and AC Milan Rafael Leão have been maintained.

Central defense

Even though the main objective is in the offensive position, there’s the need for a strong defense. Although players like Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe and Sergio Ramos are capable of handling this position, the club wants to have other options.

Currently, Milan Skriniar and Pierre Kalulu have been considered the primary targets by the club.
