The Three clubs that want to sign Jorginho in January 2023 transfer window
Jorginho’s Chelsea contract would end in June 2023 with no talks of a contract extension with Chelsea, which most certainly sees the Italian on his way out of Stamford bridge.
The Italian midfielder is reportedly on the agenda of several European football clubs, including FC Barcelona, who could not secure the services of the Italian in the previous transfer window.
Why is Jorginho not extending his contract with Chelsea?
Jorginho’s demand is deemed too much by the club. Chelsea had offered to keep him at the club for an annual salary of 6 million, but the player declined it, according to Calcio Mercato.
Although Jorginho is in high demand, what has become the main issue has been his high salary demand. According to CalcioMercato via Fichajes, Jorginho demands around 8-9 million euros per season.

Despite this high salary demand, there are three clubs in the race for the Italian who will not be on the train to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar next month.

Barcelona
After a failed attempt in the previous transfer window, the Blaugrana wants to renegotiate the contract offer with the player.
According to reports, Jorginho’s agent had begun negotiations with Barcelona sports management for a possible agreement with the player. But the competition is open, and the Catalan-based club needs to do more to convince the player.
Paris Saint-Germain
PSG are in the market despite their involvement in the previous market. The Paris-based club wants to strengthen its midfield and emphasises the Italian.
Christophe Galtier wants to fill the void left by the absence of Leandro Paredes. Even though this is one of the likely destinations for the Italian, it remains to be seen if it will come to fruition in January, as the player wants a long-term project.
Juventus
Juventus are waiting for Jorginho to make his final decision regarding his future. What could favour the Italian giants is the good relationship with Federico Cherubini, Juventus sporting director, as this could propel his decision to join the Serie A-based club.
