Bayern Munich signed Tiago Dantas on loan from Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit SL Benfica with an option to buy at the end according to Portuguese newspaper Record, cited by Fussball Transfers.
The Bavarians are to pay 7.5 million euros as a purchase fee to Benfica if Bayern is impressed with his performance in his first season at the club.
However, there is another obligation which the Bundesliga club must adhere to. Bayern Munich must send about 25 per cent of the sale if Tiago Dantas is sold to any club in the future.
For Dantas, he is a dream player head coach Hansi Flick had always wanted to get. But as things stand currently, he is expected to kickstart his career with the second team in the German third division.
