The 4 players to leave Man City in summer transfer window 2023
João Cancelo made the shock exit from Manchester City to Bayern Munich. Although the Portuguese left the Etihad stadium on loan initially, there’s the option to buy at the end of the his stay at the Bundesliga club.
And now the Citizens could be open to allowing some surprise departures following João Cancelo’s decision. The Portuguese who had struggled to get game time were chosen by the Bavarians due to the injury to Noussair Mazraoui who will miss the Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
Although Pep Guardiola is interested in keeping his best legs, he is also open to the idea of bringing reinforcements to the team. Fichajes suggest these four players could follow the Portuguese out of Man City.
The 4 players to leave Man City in summer transfer window 2023
Bernardo Silva
Bernardo Silva is one of the biggest names that have constantly surfaced in the headlines of top European newspapers. The Portuguese have been linked with a move to Barcelona.
Currently, Bernardo Silva has a contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2025. He could earn the Cityzens around 60 million euros of profit amid interest from teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Kyle Walker
A surprise inclusion on the list, Kyle Walker has been arguably one of the best players at Man City. But the club is already looking at the future and is searching for a right-back who could replace him.
Walker’s contract with Man City is valid until June 30, 2024.
Aymeric Laporte
Aymeric Laporte appears to have lost the trust of the coach. The Spaniard could be on his way out of the club in the summer transfer window.
Ilkay Gundogan
It may be difficult to keep Ilkay Gündogan at the Etihad stadium beyond the expiration of his contract as the German already has the idea of making a change.
Although Pep Guardiola wants to see him continue playing for Man City in the future, the odds of his commitment to a long-term project may not be feasible.
So far, Barcelona has shown interest in securing his services.
