Bayern Munich second choice goalkeeper Sven Ulreich is close to securing a move to German second division side hamburger SV for a fee valued to be less than two million euros.
Ulreich who has remained second fiddle to legendary Manuel Neuer who remains the club’s most preferred goalkeeper in goal has considered playing a regular role instead, after over five years on the bench only to appear in few cases where Neuer was unavailable for selection.
The 32-year old German goalkeeper is on the verge of leaving the European Champions for the German second division as reported by Bild via Fussball Transfers.
Sven is expected to cost the Red Shots less than two million euros for the next two seasons.
Sven’s remarkable achievement was during the 2017/18 league season in Germany.

The former VfB Stuttgart goalkeeper is expected to battle first team shirt with Daniel Heuer Fernandes who remains Hamburg’s number one goalkeeper.
His place at Bayern Munich has been threatened by the arrival of Alexander Nubel from Schalke 04, who is also subject to a loan switch as a result of lack of game time since his arrival at the Allianz Arena.
