In total, the club has won over 51 league titles and are behind Rangers FC with 55 as the second-best team in the country in terms of numbers of league titles won.

 

The club began to win the Championship in 1892–93 and went to lift it in two successive seasons after an impressive outing in 1893-94 season.

 

Celtic also won a record six straight league titles in the early 1890s after the back to back league title win.

 

Other notable trophies include the Scottish FA Cup won 40 times and 19 League Cups.

 

The club also enjoyed continental success, winning the European Cup in 1966–67.

 

Since the start of the Premiership Era, Celtic has been in a commanding position, winning the first seven league titles before Ranger’s intervention in the 2020/2021 season, ending a nine-year wait for the title.

 

Aberdeen

Aberdeen football club is a Scottish professional football club based in Aberdeen and competes in the top flight.

The club from Aberdeen began its title-winning journey after enjoying a brilliant season 1954–55 to lift its first crown.

 

However, before the club could have another hand on the trophy, it took another twenty-five years plus before it came through.

 

This was in the 1979–80 season.

 

Aberdeen did not stop from there, the club went to make it back to wins to complete its fourth title.

 

Since then, Aberdeen has failed to make a mark even in modern football in Scotland amid Celtic and Rangers dominance.

 

The club has also won seven FA Cups and six League Cups in the past.

 

Heart of Midlothian Football Club

Hearts are a Scottish professional football club based in the capital city of Edinburgh and compete in the Premiership.

 

Hearts is one of the other three clubs that have won the league title outside the other two dominating clubs in the top flight.

 

Hearts began its journey in the fight for a league and was awarded after an excellent campaign in 1894–95, waiting for another two years to add a second in 1896–97.

 

After the league triumph, the team went on hiatus but returned in 1957–58 to lift its third title which was followed by another excellent outing in 1959–60 to make it four in total.

 

Hibernian Football Club

Hibernian Football Club is a professional football club based in Edinburgh. Hibernian competes in the Premiership.

 

Hibs have won a total of four league titles in the past with the first trophy in the 1902–03 season. Hibs also won the league back to back between 1950–51 and 1951–52.
