Saudi Arabian Club offer Karim Benzema 200 million euros to leave Real Madrid – report
This comes with the growing uncertainty regarding the future of Karim Benzema at Real Madrid. Now reports Bernabéu Digital via Relevo, the French attacker has been tempted with 200 million euros to leave European football.
And this could happen in the coming weeks. The details of the contract revealed include a two-year contract for which Benzema would receive 100 million each season.
Why is the Saudi move coming at this time? Karim Benzema’s future at Real Madrid is in doubt even as the club tries to find a reliable striker ahead of next season, with few names like Goncalo Ramos and Roberto Firmino already mentioned in the newspapers.
Benzema was in his best form at the club since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bale, and led the club to the UCL trophy in 2022. However, he has been in an inspection form since his return from the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Although he has proven to be the complete forward this season (especially in the Copa del Rey semi-final defeat of Barcelona), a lot of changes need to be made.
The Saudi Arabian top flight is increasingly becoming one of the top destinations for European stars especially due to the mouth-watering financial package.
