The transfer talks around Hee-chan Hwang is apparently come into fruition. According to a media report, the attacker has already signed with RB Leipzig.
What was hinted at last is apparently in dry cloth. According to information from ‘Sky’, Hee-chan Hwang has signed a contract with RB Leipzig. Only the official announcement of the transfer from sister club RB Salzburg to Saxony is still pending.
For Hwang it would be the second engagement in Germany. In 2018/19 he played as a loan player for Hamburger SV, but was unable to access his potential due to injury. In Salzburg, the now 24-year-old Hwang has become a top performer. He has 37 goals from 38 competitive matches this season.
In Leipzig, Hwang should help to compensate for the loss of Timo Werner (24). The top scorer is drawn to Chelsea. Also in the sights of Leipzig: Milot Rashica (24) from SV Werder Bremen.
