Several weeks of struggles at RB Leipzig for Alexander Sörloth is finally over as the will soon announce the official signing of the Norwegian attacker.
Leipzig has been in discussions with Trabzonspor for Alexander Sörloth in the past weeks. But the problem happens to be Leipzig’s valuation of the player which in the eyes of Trabzonspor remains a lower valuation.
The sale of the player will hand the club a total of six to seven million euros if the agreement made falls on 26 million euros.
However, that story is now in the archives as a fee had already been agreed upon with an official announcement set to be made this week.
According to Leipzig Managing Director Oliver Mintzlaff, a positive result awaits the club in the next few days when asked about Alexander Sörloth transfer.
“I think we’ll get a positive result in the next few days.” said the managing director via Fussball Transfers.
The solution was simple. Leipzig had to deal directly with his parent club Crystal Palace as he is only a loan player at Trabzonspor. The agreement made with the Premier League side is a total 20 million euros plus add-ons which is less than four million euros.
Leipzig wants to finalize the deal so as to include Sörloth in the matchday squad against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. As a result, his medicals will take place within the week.
