Rennes football club president Nicolas Holveck has commented on the recent rumours linking Eduardo Camavinga with a move to Germany with Bayern Munich cited as the key destination for the French wonderkid.
Camavinga rose to the occasion last season after helping Rennes quality of the UEFA Champions League with the league ending abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
We shouldn’t expect any unusual movements this summer. If we are lucky enough to qualify for the Champions League directly, this will strengthen our position in the transfer market. But even if we don’t make it, the players won’t be chased away, ” said Holveck according to Fussball Transfers via RMC.
Bayern Munich have already signed Tanguy Kouassi from Paris Saint Germain.
The club would participate in the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League once the season commences.
