In the crazy transfer market, clubs often demand enormous fees for selling their key players.
However, this is not in every case. Now, German Newspaper Sport Bild, as cited by Fichajes.com, reveals Real Madrid are not willing to overpay for the signing of Alphonso Davies.
The Canadian star, arguably one of the game-changers for Bayern Munich, has been in the sights of the La Liga giants for quite a while.
At the moment, the Canadian is valued at around 50 million euros by Bayern Munich, but the report suggests that Los Blancos is not willing to match the price tag.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, has turned their attention to strengthening their squad amid concerns about the ageing of some of its top players.
Especially in the defence, the club signed Fran Garcia, who has been tipped to be one of the mainstays in the team.
However, there’s more to the signing of Fran Garcia, even as the team wants greater squad depth and competition. And this has been the reason for targeting the Bayern Munich winger.
An opportunity in 2024
Bayern Munich is yet to settle the future of Alphonso Davies, who is yet to sign a contract extension with the club.
The Canadian, on his current deal, is contracted to the club until the summer of 2025. However, there’s no extended in sight which hands Real Madrid a significant boost.
50 million euros is not an option
The Los Blancos are keen on Davies, but there are no plans to overpay Bayern Munich for his services next summer.
The only solution here is that Bayern Munich must lower their asking price for the player. Real Madrid, on the other hand, has set 40 million euros for the player, which could be seen as a take-or-leave-it scenario.
However, considering the competition in the transfer market, a bigger offer could reduce the club’s chances of securing his services.
