Real Madrid and Juventus face off at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California, in a repeat (this time a friendly) of the 2016–17 UEFA Champions League final. The two teams hold an intense rivalry in European competitions to date.

Real Madrid are  fourteen-time UEFA Champions League winners with the most recent victory in the 2021/22 final fantasy English giants Liverpool FC.

The Los Blancos began their Preseason tour of the United States with a loss in the El Clasico against Barcelona, followed by a draw with Mexico soccer giants Club America.

Two goals from Moise Kean from the two halves was enough for Juventus to hold Barcelona to a draw at the Cotton Bowl last Wednesday.

Real Madrid vs Juventus Preseason Friendly Match Preview

Real Madrid are winless in their last two outings against Barcelona and Club America. But Carlo Ancelotti named a strong eleven that earned a draw against the Mexican club.

Club America’s main player Henry Martin opened the scoring for the Mexicans five minutes after kickoff. The Los Blancos came to level terms in the 22nd minute after a well worked play led to a goal by Karim Benzema.

Eden Hazard gave Real Madrid the lead in the second half through the penalty spot, which was not entirely as the Mexican side was awarded a spot kick eight minutes before normal time to force a draw at Oracle Park.

Moise Kean had a double in the 2-2 draw with Barcelona. Juve played well but could not convert their chances against the Catalan club.

Real Madrid and Juventus are two of the biggest rivals in European football and meet at the highest level regularly.

Real Madrid will play Frankfurt in the UEFA Super Cup on August 10, while Juventus will take on Atlético Madrid before facing Sassuolo in the Italian Série A opener.
