Every word coach Zinedine Zidane said during the press conference for the game against Alaves on Saturday
When asked about the team’s win over Inter Milan, here’s his response.
We have 24 players who can play and that’s great for the squad because we’ll need all of them with so many games. The way we performed in Milan is what we’re looking for. We have to see more of the same and work on what we’re doing well as a group because tomorrow is another final with three hugely important points up for grabs. Alavés will make life difficult for us and we want to keep up with the good things we’re doing”.
“It’s not an attitude problem or lack of desire because we always want to win. This is football and we might struggle depending on the opponent but we know that if we do things as a unit and are focused, we’re very tough to beat. Finding consistency is the most difficult thing in football and we work on our concentration every day even if we haven’t got much time. We want to improve with every game”.
The words from the coach indicate his players will not take the game likely with Alaves. According to him, it’s like a final and they’ll prosecute the game just like a final.
