Real Madrid monitoring Jeremie Frimpong and Alphonso Davies ahead 2024 transfer window
Following the movements in the summer, Real Madrid are exploring options in the defense and could make new signings perhaps in the summer, January or 2024.
Now fichajes.com reports that Los Blancos are monitoring the duo of Jeremie Frimpong and Alphonso Davies as they look to strengthen their defence.
Although Los Blancos have some of the biggest names in the defense, like David Alaba, and Antonio Rüdiger, the need to strengthen remains an option.
Eder Militao was recently injured and is not expected to return anytime soon. Ferland Mendy perhaps could leave as rumours surround his future at the club.
This summer, the focus of Los Blancos was in the midfield, where they signed Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and the return of Brahim Díaz, who was on loan at AC Milan.
But next summer, the objective would switch to other positions, including the defense and the attack, if a solution was not found in 2023.
According to Defensa Central, cited by Fichajes, there is a great desire for Alphonse Davies on the left side of the defense and Jeremie Frimpong on the right.
There have been rumours surrounding Alphonso Davies’ future at Bayern Munich, and rumours suggest he could leave the Bundesliga club as his contract expires in 2025 without a sign of renewal.
Real Madrid could offer around 50 to 60 million euros for Davies in an attempt to sign him to the Spanish La Liga while offering around 30 to 40 for Bayern Leverkusen Jeremie Frimpong.
