1. Erling Haaland

 

Erling Haaland is a Norwegian Professional football who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga.

With the nickname “The Terminator”, Haaland is considered to be one of the best young strikers in world football.

 

Erling Haaland began his youth career with Bryne Football club in Norway before he was picked up by the Molde reserve team and was eventually promoted to the senior team.

 

Haaland’s rise began in Molde where he scored over 14 goals in 39 appearances, a strong performance that attracted the interest of Red Bull Salzburg who secured his services in 2019.

Haaland scored back to back hat tricks upon his arrival to send a strong message.

 

The Norwegian international also scored in a record six conservative games for the club.

 

Making his Champions League debut for Red Bull Salzburg against Belgian side Genk which became his third hat trick since he had moved to Austria.

 

Haaland was quickly noticed in the European scene after he scored against Liverpool at Anfield followed by another hit against Napoli in the Champions League.

 

He also became the first striker to score in his first four UCL games.

 

Haaland’s exploits in his first season were top-notch, but could not steer his club to the knockout stages of the Champions League.

 

However, he broke several records in the process which earn him international recognition as well as Borussia Dortmund’s strong desire to land him in the transfer window.

Although since he made the switch to Germany, injuries had prevented him from fulfilling his dream in the early years of his journey in Germany.

 

Dominik began his career at Liefering, Red Bull Salzburg reserve or the development team in Austria.

 

He was promoted to the senior team RB Salzburg after barely a year with the reserve team after scoring 16 goals in 42 appearances coupled with brilliant team contributions.

Beginning from the 2017–18 season, he made his senior debut against Austria Wien.

Dominik Szobozlai was voted the player of the season for the 2019–20 league season after scoring nine times and assistant fourteen times in over twenty-seven appearances.

 

In total, the Hungarian soccer player won up to four Austrian Bundesliga titles, three Austrian Cup, etc.

 

Dominik Szobozlai moved to RB Leipzig but was prevented from playing regularly due to injury.

3. Hwang Hee Chan

 

Hwang Hee chan is a South Korean footballer.

The fast pace attacker currently plays as a forward for Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers, on loan from RB Leipzig.

 

He was regarded as Red Bull Salzburg best attacker known specially as the player that knows how to score against Liverpool in the Champions League while he was in Austria.

 

Nicknamed the “Bull” (Hwangso) the south Korean was tipped to shine even further after RB Leipzig announced his signing ahead of the new Bundesliga season.

 

Hwang began his career at Pohang Jecheol Middle School before switching to Red Bull Salzburg in 2015.

 

The South Korean spent some major part of his career on loan at Liefering, Salzburg’s reserve team and Hamburgers SV in the Bundesliga.

 

He was introduced in the game against Nice in the UEFA Europa League where his contributions helped the team won the crucial tie.

 

With Hwang’s contributions, Red Bull Salzburg reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League but lost to French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.

 

During the 2019–20 season, Hwang was in fine form as he helped RB Salzburg through the group stages of the Champions League.

 

Hwang had a remarkable season as he scored 16 goals and provided 22 assists in 40 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg, which signalled his exit from the club.

 

In 2020, he switched to RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga but did not enjoy the same form yet he had at Salzburg.

4. Patson Daka

 

Patson Daka is a professional football player who currently plays for Leicester City in the Premier League.

 

He began his career at Kafue Celtic, moving on loan to Power Dynamos in Zambia.

 

His move abroad came as Liefering signed him on loan following an impressive performance in the Zambian local league.

 

Daka joined RB Salzburg in 2017 through the club’s reserved team Liefering and was promoted to the senior team the same year.

 

Daka quickly established himself as a proper first-team player in his first season, contributing to the team’s successful outing in the Australian Bundesliga.

5. Dayot Upamecano

 

Dayot Upamecano is a french Professional Footballer who currently plays for Bayern Munich as a defender.

 

He moved to the Bundesliga giants ahead of the new Bundesliga season alongside former RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagglesman.

 

Upamecano started at Liefering, earning a promotion to the first team.

 

Upamecano attracted interest from major European clubs but opted to join Salzburg instead.

6. Marcel Sabitzer

8. Naby Keita
