Three consecutive losses for Rangers isn’t a good thing for the Gers early on in the season. Losing to Celtic 4-0 in the Old Firm derby was followed by two more losses in the Champions League against Napoli and Ajax.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side are already five points adrift of Celtic at the top of the standings, and there would be no excuse for the Dutchman when his side takes on bottom-placed Dundee Utd.

Dundee Utd, on the other hand, has been winless since the start of the campaign, putting themselves on a hard line after just a few games into the season. The last time they won a game was in the Scottish League Cup win against Livingston.

James Tavernier, Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack, Malik Tillman and Ryan Kent are expected to be in action as Rangers aim to bounce back against struggling Dundee Utd.
