Rafael Borré could depart Frankfurt for €11m as Mexicans Cruz Azul submits offer
Mexican Liga MX club Cruz Azul has submitted an offer for Rafael Borré, whose time at the Bundesliga club is ending.
The 27-year-old Colombian could join the Mexican club in the summer, with ongoing negotiations between the two sides.
According to ESPN via Fussball Transfers, Eintracht Frankfurt is willing to sell the striker for eleven million euros.
Interestingly, the Mexicans are looking to complete the player’s signing permanently, as he is currently out of favour at the club.
The transfer fee is higher than most had expected. Although there’s been no agreement, the Colombian will likely head for the exit door this summer as Frankfurt looks to make some cash in a potential sale.
Recently, Rafael Borré was linked with other top teams, including Marseille, Olympiacos, and Brazilian club Vasco da Gama.
