PSG would insist clubs pay 250 million euros for Kylian Mbappe in the summer
The saga involving Kylian Mbappe is far from over. Even now, a delegation from Qatar are expected to discuss the situation with the player in the coming week
And according to Fichajes, PSG will only accept not less than 250 million euros for clubs willing to sign the French forward in the summer.
One of the reasons the Qatari delegations would discuss with Mbappé in the coming weeks is for the player to clearly state his desire to remain at the club or take a different route.
It appears Mbappe would remain at PSG until the summer of 2024, even as the club decides to add his name to the first team roster for 2023/24 following their initial decision to omit the forward.
Fichajes cited French football journalist Andrés Onrubia, who revealed what would happen in the coming weeks regarding the future of Mbappe.
“Qatar have sent several emissaries to Paris to meet with Mbappé’s entourage this weekend and next week with the striker in order to reach an agreement on his renewal. If he wants to leave, they will ask him to make that clear.” Says Andrés Onrubia.
Optimism grows at PSG and Qatar regarding Kylian Mbappé’s contract renewal. Paris Saint-Germain will accept not less than 250 million euros for Mbappe.
“Right now, optimism is higher in Qatar and at PSG than it was a week ago with Mbappé’s renewal. Moreover, if any team wants to sign the striker, the price is inflexible. They won’t go below €250m in cash. No more, no less.”
