Players that played for both Inter and Juventus


The transfer from Inter to Milan, and vice versa, causes great indignation among fans, and throughout history, many top footballers have played for both teams. We selected the ten best, who wore the jersey of Inter and Juventus.


1. Andrea Pirlo

The wizard in the middle of the field had an incredible career at Juventus and Milan, winning two UEFA Champions League trophies with Milan. But the midfielder started his career at Inter Milan, where he made 22 appearances in three years. The legendary midfielder also led Juventus as a manager for a short time.


2. Roberto Baggio

The Italian showed his world-class skills and played his best football from 1990 to 1995 at Juventus. He won the UEFA Cup in 1993 with this team. He later played Inter for two years, from 1998 to 2000.

3. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

5. Giuseppe Meazza

He is Inter’s greatest striker ever. The striker played for the blue Milan team from 1927 to 1940. He scored 282 goals for the club and later joined Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 27 matches.


6. Patrick Vieira

Patrick Vieira, a great French defensive midfielder with a golden football career while playing for Arsenal, also played for Juventus for a while when the club brought him in 2005. Still, after the “Calciopoli” scandal, he moved to Inter and won four titles with this team.


7. Marco Tardelli

Marco Tardelli is a world-class midfielder who played for Juventus from 1975 to 1985. He rose to fame as one of the best midfielders in Italy after scoring a spectacular goal against England in the World Cup. He won five titles for the Italian team and later signed a contract with Inter for three years.


8. Edgar Davids

Edgar Davids is a Dutch midfielder who signed for Juventus during the 1997 winter transfer window after lifting the UEFA Champions League with Milan and creating his fan base. He lifted the Italian championship three times while he had a six-year contract with the club. Inter later bought him from Milan during the transfer in 2004. He is currently one of the coaches of the Dutch national team.


9. Aldo Serena

Today, the 50-year-old, during his career from the late seventies to the early nineties, played as many as four different terms in Inter and once in Juventus. The season 1988/89 is best remembered in which he won the scudetto with Inter and was the top scorer of the championship with 22 goals.


10. Christian Vieri


One of the former leading goalscorers of Italian football who played for Juventus in 1996-97 and won the Italian Serie A then. Later after playing in various clubs like Lazio and Atletico Madrid, the striker also got to play at Inter, where he had a six-year tenure but could only lift the Coppa Italia.
