Philippe Coutinho reach an agreement with Qatari club Al Duhail
Brazilian forward Philippe Coutinho’s Premier League career is expected to end this summer as Fussball Transfers, with excerpts from Fabrizio Romano, reveals the striker’s agreement with Qatari club Al Duhail.
The former Barcelona striker and one of the club’s record signing failed to find his footing following his exit from the Premier League club and have struggled to maintain top form ever since.
He joined Aston Villa as he tried to revive his career. Although he had a brilliant start, he could not maintain a competitive form at the club.
Now, he has reached an agreement to join Al Duhail. However, Aston Villa are yet to reach an agreement with the Qatari club as the Premier League side has not given the green light for a transfer to happen.
Coutinho has a contract with Villa until the summer of 2026, but he is no longer one of the key players in the team, as Unai Emery has other options.
