1. Barcelona B
Pep Guardiola was placed in charge of Barcelona second team then in the Spanish their Tercera División group.
He secured qualification for the 2008 Segunda División B playoffs and secured qualification following their victory in the playoffs. This was a milestone for the club legend who won major trophies in domestic and continental competitions as a player.

2. Barcelona

Following the success with the Barcelona B team, Pep Guardiola was announced to be the head coach of the senior team after the departure of Dutch manager Frank Rijkaard.
His first season with the Catalan club saw an overhaul of the entire squad to pave way for a new era at the club. Pep made some of the most important signings at the time which helped Barcelona become a strong force.
At the end of his first season, he secured the Spanish La Liga title with Barcelona to end their three-year wait for a league title. Pep also guided his new generation squad to Copa del Rey victory.
In the UEFA Champions League where he started his first competition with a comfortable win over Polish club Wisła Kraków, Pep relied on Andrés Iniesta late minute goal in the second leg at Stamford Bridge to put his side to the final.
In the final of the UEFA Champions League, Pep Guardiola defeated Manchester United to lift the title, thereby becoming the youngest man to coach a Champions League winning team.
In his second season, he made another squad overhaul when the likes of Samuel Eto’o, Eiður Guðjohnsen, Sylvinho and Albert Jorquera headed for the exit door.
Despite losing some of his best legs, Guardiola went on to finish the calendar year 2009 with a record six trophies, the La Liga, Copa del Rey, UEFA Champions League, Supercopa de Espana, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup, becoming the first manager in history to do so.
Although this time the Spaniard could not reach the Champions League final as a result of the loss to Inter Milan, Guardiola went on to win the La Liga title.
In the 2010–11 season, Pep Guardiola took Barcelona back to Champions League success after a year without the trophy.

3. Bayern Munich

At the start of the 2013–14 season, Pep switched to German giants Bayern Munich replacing Jupp Heynckes.
The Spanish manager won the UEFA Super Cup with Bayern Munich in his first season. Still in the calendar year of 2013, Guardiola won the FIFA Club World Cup Bayern Munich after beating Raja Casablanca.
At the end of the 2013/2014 season, Pep Guardiola led Bayern Munich to their 23rd German Bundesliga title.
In total, Pep Guardiola won three Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals, one UEFA Super Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup.

4. Manchester City

Pep Guardiola was appointed Manchester City manager in 2017 following his departure from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. The Spaniard signed a three-year contract with the Cityzens for the start of the 2016–17 season.
Before the start of the new season in the English Premier League, he brought new players and also released players who didn’t fit into his new plan with the Manchester-based football team.
Pep started on a fine note but was forced to rethink his decision to sign for the Premier League following a drop in form across all competitions which saw him finish the season without a meaningful trophy in England.
In his second season with the Cityzens, Pep Guardiola identified areas the team had lapses and quickly fixed them with the introduction of top players like Ederson, Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva and Danilo.
Pep won his first trophy with Manchester City following the defeat of Arsenal in the EFL Cup. He further went on to win the Premier League with a record-breaking 100 points.
Pep’s second season saw the winning of a domestic treble. He guided the Cityzens to the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and FA Community Shield.
For the manager, it was more of making the English football scene a fortress with the acquisition of some of the most brilliant players around Europe.
During the 2019–20 campaign which was his fourth season in charge of the club, more players were brought into the team including the likes of João Cancelo, Danilo and Rodri.
He started the season on an impressive note with the defeat of a hard-fighting Liverpool in the FA Community Shield. Pep’s rejuvenated side went on to win the EFL Cup for the third straight year.
Pep’s fifth season saw the introduction of new names likes Rúben Dias, Nathan Aké and Ferran Torres. Pep Guardiola won his fourth successive EFL Cup following the defeat of Tottenham Hotspur 1–0 in the final.
He also led Manchester City to the Champions League final, but lost to fellow Premier League side Chelsea who’s managed by German tactical Thomas Tuchel.

Brief history
Pep Guardiola was born in Santpedor, Spain. He began his football career with Gimnàstic Manresa and moved unto Barcelona as a youth player.
As a defensive midfielder, he passed through the Barcelona youth ranks before earning promoted to the professional team in 1990 where he had 263 appearances and scored six times.
He also played for Brescia, AS Roma, Al-Ahli and Dorados. At the national team level, Guardiola was capped by various Spanish teams including the senior team where he recorded forty-seven appearances.
Representing Spain Men’s football at the Olympic Games in 1992, Pep Guardiola helped the team to win a Gold medal.
At club level with Barcelona, he won over 15 trophies which include six La Liga, one Copa del Rey, four Supercopa de España, one European Cup, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, and two European Super Cups.
