Patrick Bamford PFA award: How Leeds star won the hearts of fans
Patrick Bamford was given the PFA player of the month award for September and October following an impressive run of form throughout the two months.
The English attacker quickly stamped his foot in the Premier League as one of the most important strikers in the division.
For Leeds United, Bamford has been one of the most important players for them. The 27-year old Englishman was involved in most of the goals scored by the club since the 2020/2021 campaign started.

Patrick Bamford won the hearts of the fans after scoring six goals in six Leeds United matches in the opening two months.
Most importantly, his influence on the team was quickly seen as he scored stunning goals during Leeds United Premier League opening matchday defeat at Anfield against Liverpool which they lost 4-3 at the end after coming back from behind.
He was also on target during the 4-3 win over Fulham. Although, the game against the Craven Cottage boys was a bit shaky.
Bamford saw off the likes of Jamie Vardy (Leicester), Jack Grealish (Aston Villa), Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton), Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane (Tottenham) to win the award.
