Palmeiras squad for FIFA Club World Cup 2021 (2022) and the top players to watch
After a disappointing outing last time, Palmeiras would present the most decent squad for the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
The Copa Libertadores winners presented the weakest squad ever by a Brazilian league club in the history of the FIFA Club World Cup and finished fourth behind Al Ahly Egypt.
However, coach of the side Abel Ferreira who’s has already won two Copa Libertadores titles and a Copa do Brasil trophy in two years of relationship with the club, is expected to correct the wrongs this time.
Palmeiras had begun the 2022 football season in the Campeonato Paulista Série A1 and currently leads Group B with ten points after four matches.
Palmeiras are expected to travel to the United Arab Emirates after the 1-0 Paulista Série A1 win over Agua Santa through Dudu’s 27th minute’s goal just outside the box.
