The head of Soccer and RB Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff is positive about the chances of Nigeria eligible attacker Ademola Lookman at RB Leipzig.
The 23-year old attacker was loaned to Fulham, but they were relegated at the end of the season after fishing in the Premier League relegation zone.
However, his loan move with the already relegated Fulham is expiring soon and the Englishman is expected to return to RB Leipzig ahead of the new season.
For Lookman, he played for a year in the Premier League with Fulham and there are no plans of a permanent deal with the club.
“They were relegated, but he played a lot of games and played well. That was a good decision, we are in talks with his agent and Jesse,” said Mintzlaff last Wednesday.
Ademola Lookman is still bound to RB Leipzig until 2024 when his contract is expected to come to an end.
So far, he has spent most of his years at the club on loan with the first at Everton and most recently with Fulham in England.
